María Teresa Gutiérrez is a graduate teacher of English from Argentina. Her acquaintance with English started in kindergarten and went on throughout primary and secondary school before attending teacher training college, where she did advanced courses in English grammar, linguistics, and English and American literature. She also took postgraduate courses in translation and English for Specific Purposes. Shortly after graduating, she spent three years in England, where she had the opportunity to interact with native speakers both socially and at work, absorb English culture, and to attend an international IATEFL conference in Oxford. Back in Argentina, she taught English at primary, secondary and tertiary levels — including 8 years at a Waldorf School in the province of Córdoba. She also did freelance translation work for civil and business organizations, as well as for independent authors. In the area of Anthroposphy, she has translated lectures and other texts for use by her colleagues at the Waldorf School in Córdoba, as well as the book Educating the Will by Michael Howard, published in Spanish by Editorial Antroposófica, Buenos Aires.
